Burial Warfare Overview
Stay bold and fearless, because a moonlit stroll through the cemetery awaits, and you’ll feel more than just the massive, hypnotic moon staring back. This is, after all, the Night of the Living Dead, and it’s shaping up to be an incredibly long—and breathtaking—night.
Burial Warfare is a 6-reel, 4-row slot game featuring these elements: two teams for you to choose from, Wild, Explosive, and Scatter symbols, a Stash Opening minigame, a Loss Bonus, and Free Spins. Before the action starts, you pick your side: Humans or Zombies. You can switch teams at any time, and symbols matching your chosen team deliver higher payouts. There are also team-specific symbols. These appear for both sides but are color-coded to their team, and their wins are tripled. Human and zombie hands with thumbs up serve as Scatter symbols. Depending on your selected team, landing three or more Scatters on the reels wins a round for one side or the other. If your team takes the round, you earn a Loss Bonus and a chance to open a Crate (Coffin) with an extra prize inside.
Inside the crate are all symbols on the screen that carry reward value, plus the Jackpot symbol (a bonus symbol worth the total of all rewards multiplied by 10). When you open the crate, you win one of these bonus rewards, with its special value listed in the rules under "stash."
Three enemy Scatter symbols mean you lose the round. But don’t worry—each losing round boosts the Loss Bonus, which pays out after a win or a draw (when three Scatters from both teams appear on the screen). The Loss Bonus starts at zero at the start of the game and increases by bet/2 each time the opposing team wins. After the Loss Bonus is paid, it resets to zero.
Three consecutive round wins grant you a massive 30 Free Spins! During Free Spins, Scatter symbols don’t appear on the reels, boosting your win rate.
To win this showdown, you have a wide arsenal of powerful tools. For example, dynamite explodes and destroys all non-allied symbols nearby; the team-neutral Bottle Rocket switches enemy symbols to Wilds; and the Molotov/Acid Flask replaces adjacent horizontal and vertical symbols with Wilds.
